This is a fun and exciting series as it puts together two Feldenkrais for Life workshops, each of which focuses on our most peripheral parts, hands and feet. In the Feldenkrais MethodĀ® we are constantly learning how to use the whole of ourselves in whatever we are doing. Much of the time we emphasize accessing the center. When we bring attention to the hands and feet we find out how all roads lead back to the middle. Our hands are so greatly represented in the brain as we connect with and manipulate our environment through them for survival and creativity. And our feet, literally our foundation, have so many nerve receptors, bones and joints all working together to move us through the world, adjusting for balance, keeping us safe. Itās fascinating to bring the ends of ourselves into view as a way of seeing our whole through these Awareness Through MovementĀ® lessons. This is another bargain seekerās delight.
